We are currently experiencing issues with OpenAPI. We believe there is an issue with the communication between Mashape and our infrastructure. We have reached out to Mashape for assistance.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Real-time passenger load information now available.published 2 years ago
We have added real-time passenger load information to our vehicles feed. There are three new fields for each vehicle:
- passenger_load: The current estimated number of passengers on the vehicle. A null value means this information is not available for the vehicle.
- seating_capacity: The seating capacity of the vehicle. Null means this information is not available.
- standing_capacity: The standing capacity of the vehicle. Null means this information is not available.
Total vehicle capacity can be obtained by summing seating_capacity and standing_capacity.
Note: Real-time passenger load information is not available for all TransLoc agencies. Only agencies that utilize passenger-counting equipment are able to generate that data.
